Winter Maker

My designs are inspired by the beauty of the Hudson Valley, the bounty of nature, and also literature. I love to find beauty in what comes from the earth and to give people the chance to wear nature–a reminder of the small things we should cherish. As an embroidery artist, my main focus is on miniature, detailed designs mostly for jewelry settings. My thread paintings are set into metal or wooden pendants, earrings, bookmarks, and brooches. I have also been experimenting with carving and printmaking–producing bags, clothing, and stationery items with whimsical nature themes.
