Jacqueline Joyce is a Hudson Valley based painter and craftsperson. Her work is often about using fantasy and storytelling as an escape from the problems and stressors of the real world, and as a coping mechanism for anxiety and ailments of the mind. Most of her works are in acrylic paint, but some incorporate elements of drawing and collage, as well as installation under black-lights. She also likes to dabble in bookmaking, printmaking, costume, and woodcraft. She primarily sells prints of her paintings as well as occasional trinkets that she crafts.
