RVG x après Earth Day clothing swap!

This Earth Day do something good for the planet + your wardrobe! We are excited to be co-hosting our first clothing swap event with RVG member, Kaitlyn Murray, founder of the upcycled clothing company, la vie après l’amour. The most sustainable piece of clothing is one that you already own, or one that your neighbor owns! Clothing swaps are a great way to get rid of old clothes that you no longer want, and replace them with amazing ‘new to you’ pieces, without them ending up in landfill. Doors will open at 4pm. You can come drop your clothes and either enjoy a drink and hang out in the Yard, or drop the clothes and come back. The ‘shopping’ (swapping) will start at 5:30pm following a brief message from Kaitlyn about the environmental impact of the fashion industry. It is open to both men & women. We are accepting clothing (no children’s clothing), shoes, accessories, and bags. We will give you back the bag you bring your clothes in to shop with, or if you prefer you can bring an additional bag to shop with. We are partnering with a local thrift shop to donate the left-over clothes. Can’t wait to see you there!

Arrive between 4-5pm to drop your clothes!

Enjoy a drink & hang out or drop your clothes and come back. 

‘Shopping’ starts at 5:30pm and goes until 7pm.
